Britannia Standard Brandy Pan, Thomas FOLKINGHAM, London, 1721

A lovely early George I Brandy pan. It has a lovely patina to it, as 300 year old silver often does. It has an engraving of a bird crest, this may be later.

The pan is in great condition, with its orginal handle, but the hallmarks, although readable, are not struck very well.

It measures approximately 10cm at its widest (not including the handle). The handle is 12.5cm long. It weighs 198 grams.
