Irish Provincial Dessert Spoon, Carden TERRY, Cork, c.1780-1795


An antique Irish Provincial Dessert Spoon in great condition. This spoon was made by Carden Terry, perhaps the most well known Cork silversmith. For more information about him and his family see Terry and Williams Families. In the Old English Pattern with a nice crest, the bowl has a couple of small dings, but almost no wear on the lip. It would date to around 1790 and it measures 17cm long and weighs 29 grams.
