Malaysian Silver Serviette Ring, c.1950-1960

In stock

This serviette ring were made by prolific Malaysian silversmiths, the Mohd Salleh and Sons. The piece is marked with a script mark which is in Jawi, an Arabic script used in Malaysia, the script translates to the word is Kelantan, a state in northern Malaysia which has a tradition of silverwork. I would date this piece to around the 1950s-60s when it seems a lot of this style was being produced.
