Scottish Arts & Crafts Vase, L & Co, Glasgow, 1905

The Arts and Crafts movement was re-acting against the mass-production of goods in the industrial revolution. The style like to show the 'hand-made' qualities of decorative items. This is seen in this Scottish Sterling Silver vase with the hand-beaten look. The style is uniquely Arts and Crafts. This piece was made in Glasgow in 1905 and is clearly hallmarked. It measures 20cm and weighs 210 grams.
