Set of four Scottish "Scottish Fiddle" pattern teaspoons, A G Whighton, Edinburgh, 1839


A uniquely Scottish set of teaspoons. Known as the "Scottish Fiddle" pattern, this style was found in Scotland in the late eighteenth/early nineteenth century. This set were made by A G Whighton in Edinburgh in 1839. In good condition, they measure just over 12cm long and weigh a combined 54 grams.
