Set of Scottish Provincial Sterling Ladles (2) and Sugar Tongs, William Jamieson, Aberdeen, c. 1806-1841

In stock

A hard to find matching set - two cream ladles and a pair of sugar tongs made by Scottish Provincial silversmith William Jamieson. He worked in Aberdeen between 1806-1841. Each piece is crested for ANDERSON of Aberdeen. There is some solder in the bowl of the tongs, it looks like a very old repair. There is also a slight graze to one of the bowls of a ladle. Apart from those, in good overall condition. The ladles measure 16cm long, the tongs just under 14cm. They weigh a combined weight of 85 grams.
