Set of Six Antique Sterling Irish Celtic-Point Dessert Spoons, John Tolekin, Cork, c.1795

In stock

A rare set of six sterling silver provincial Irish dessert spoons. These were made in Cork by John Tolekin, around 1795. The hallmarks are quite rubbed on some of them, but TOLEKIN is clearly readable on some, as is STERLING. They are in the unique Celtic Point pattern. A few various dings and bumps, as to be expected on spoons this old. In overall good condition, the bowls show moderate wear. They measure just inder 17.5cm long and weigh a combined weight of approximately 150 grams.
