Wine labels were used to identify what was in the glass decanters on the sideboards and dining tables. This is a nice sterling double-readed, octagonal label by Taylor and Perry, the well known Birmingham silversmiths. It is in good condition, just a small mark on the back where they probably filled where the engraving had gone through.
