A well made biscuit barrel, the maker is probably John Grinsell & Son, a firm that made quality pieces in both sterling and EPNS. This piece has a nice ivory finial. We would date it to around 1900-1910.
It is in great overall condition, there is just some discolouration on the base.
It is 18cm long and approximately 13cm high.
