It is rare to find NSW colonial silver made outside of Sydney. This serviette is one of those pieces. Made in Newcastle by TH Raysmith. It is a nicely sized piece and from the style and engraving, would date to around 1890-1900. Monogrammed 'CE'.
Clearly stamped 'RAYSMITH' and 'STG SILVER'.
It weighs 46 grams.
