Collection: South East Asian

Each region of South East Asia has its own style in silverware. By the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, much of the silver was being made for the European market, as many countries were under European control. The most commonly found antique and vintage silver from the region comes from Burma (modern day Myanmar) and Indonesia (known as Yogya or Djokja silver). But silver is also found from Thailand, Indo-china (modern day Vietnam) and the Chinese Straits.
