Classic Sudanese decoration, this silver box was made in 1933 in Omdurman. It is reasonably crudely made, as is common for this type of silver. It is good overall condition.
The information is detailled in the stylised Arabic writing on the lid. It also has the small 'M' stamp that is found on some pieces of Sudanese silver (this mark is currently unknown).
It measures 8cm in diameter and weighs 102 grams.
