Dorothy married into the Langlands family in Newcastle, they were one of the most prominent silversmithing families. Her husband died in 1804 and Dorothy took over the business. This set of six Old English pattern teaspoons appear to have never been monogrammed. They are lightly made, as is common for Newcastle silver and are in good overall condition, just a
few spots on them.
Clearly hallmarked (No date letter, which is common for teaspoons at the time).
They measure 13cm long and weigh a combined 73 grams.
