The original business was established by William Henry Golding in 1875 as a watchmaker and jeweller in Hobart, which later became Golding & Son. The business was considered Tasmania's oldest jeweller and a leader in the industry, a tradition continued by the family for generations until the recent retirement of the last Golding family member. It is good condition.
