This sweet little mug looks just like one of the pint mugs of the period, but much smaller! It was perhaps a child's mug. It was made by Samuel Meriton II in London in 1784. It has a period engraving 'TL to IS'. In good overall condition, there are a few bumps.
Clearly hallmarked on the base.
It measures 7.5cm high and weighs 87 grams.
