An early piece of Australian silver history. This table fork is stamped for Robert Broad, he was working in Sydney in between 1833-1842. It has an unidentified crest (it was in a lot with two Alexander Dick Tablespoons, also with the same crest).
It is interesting the stamps are on the stem, I haven't seen this on a piece of his work before. It is in great overall condition.
This fork measures just under 21cm long and weighs 82 grams.
