This piece of English sterling silver was made in London in 1840 by the father and son partnership of John and Edward Edwards. It is a well made toast rack with shell and scroll decoration and has a small period crest. It is in very good condition. 

Hallmarked - rubbed but readable. 

It measures 19cm long and weighs 343 grams.
