A lovely large Kashmiri wine ewer, profusely decorated with the chinar leaf design and a great handle comprising of three entwined snakes. It has come out of an old New Zealand collection, with the catalogue number on the base. It is in good condition, aside from a bump to the foot.
Unmarked as is common for Indian silver of this era.
It measures approx 30cm high and weighs 945 grams.
