Mystery/Unknown Marks

A particular interest and love of ours!

A number of colonial locations used their own version of silver hallmarks. They often imitated the English system. There are still a number of known groups of marks that are as yet unidentified. Here are some of them. We would love to know if you have any other examples of the marks shown, with any possible history.
