A good near pair of Irish sterling silver flatware. A soup ladle and a serving/basting spoon in the traditional fiddle pattern. Both made in Dublin by John Pittar, one in 1808 and one in 1809. Crested with a Griffin's head. They are in great overall condition, just a few small spots to the bowls.
A great set of hallmarks on each.
They measure 33cm (Basting Spoon) and 35cm (Soup Ladle) and weigh a combined 387 grams.
