Cafe Au Lait style of serving coffee was popular in the early twentieth century, one pot would hold hot milk, the other hot coffee. This is a nice pair made in London by the same maker (Robert Pringle & Sons) but made a few years apart (1898 and 1903). They are in very good overall condition.
Clearly hallmarked on one, readable but rubbed on the other.
