Hunt and Roskell took over the business the Paul Storr had started after his departure from Rundell & Bridge. The business was known for its quality and in the 1840s got a royal warrant (as shown in their maker's mark). This well made bowl has nicely detailled Chinoiserie decoration and was made in London in 1877. It has a gilded interior. It is in good overall condition, it is slightly out of shape.
Clearly hallmarked.
It measures just over 10cm in diameter and weighs a good 239 grams.
