A well made set by one of the premier French silversmiths of the late nineteenth century. As silversmiths to European Aristocracy, Savary and Fils was recognised for their supply of fine silver. This set are no exception, with good quality gilding. Nice to have a set of 12 as well. They are monogramed with a nine pointe coronet, denoting the owner as a comte (count) and the initials B.D. They in great overall condition, we haven't given them a clean yet, but are happy to before send.
Each hallmarked with Minerva and the maker's mark of S F and a rabbit.
They weigh 596 grams (spoons) and 623 grams (forks).
