Collection: Georgian
The Georgian period covered over a century.
The early Georgian period (1714–1750) prioritised functionality, structural integrity, and clean lines, continuing much of the style of the Queen Anne Period. Mid-Georgian silver (1750–1780) moved from plain surfaces in favour of theatrical, highly decorative, and fluid craftsmanship, embracing the rococo style. The late Georgian and Regency period (1780–1830) largely saw a rejection of mid-century fussiness, often turning instead to the ordered geometry of the classical world.
