This little Georgian silver spoon would have been used as a snuff spoon and placed inside a table snuff box for common use at the after-dinner dining table. This example is in the Old English pattern. It was made by William Eley I, William Fearn & William Chawner in London in 1813. It is unmonogrammed and in great condition.
Clearly hallmarked - the maker's mark is a bit rubbed.
It measures just under 9cm long and weighs 7 grams.
