A good early example, this kitchen pepper is in the cylindrical handled form with stepped base and a bayonet-mounted stepped dome cover with pierced decoration. It has owners initials on the base and a slightly later monogram on the side. It is in good condition for its age, aside from the hallmarks that are very rubbed.
