Stunning Arts and Crafts lidded pot. Made by the famous partnership of Omar Ramsden and Alwyn Carr. This piece was at the start of their partnership in 1899. It is a design we haven't been able to find another example of, incorporating 5 legs, a wooden base and a glass insert. The enamel at the top may perhaps be a replacement. In good overall condition.
Hallmarked for London 1916. (The town mark is rubbed)
