Benjamin Petersen spent time working in Adelaide for JM Wendt before moving to Christchurch in 1863. Petersen moved to England around 1871 and sold the business. It continued trading and Petersen & Co with various owners until 1912.
Here is a sterling serviette ring by them, probably dating to around 1890. It is mongrammed 'Brunetta' and in great condition.
Stamped 'B PETERSEN & Co', 'STERLING SILVER'.
