An interesting and decoration antique brooch, it is made as a fern with 'FERNSIDE" applied on it. Fernside could refer to either to a rural community in the Waimakariri District of the South Island or to a historic homestead near Featherston on the North Island. It is in good condition.
It is stamped 'STG.SILVER'.
