A good set of NZ sterling silver serviette rings, dating to circa 1900-1910. They are stamped 'AL COOKE' and 'STG.SILVER'. They have an interesting engraving, 'CC'.
Alex L Cooke took over the jewellery business of AG Barlett in 1895. The business was located on Devon Street, New Plymouth. He closed his business in 1927 when his shop was required by the Taranaki Amusements Company.
They weigh a combined 139grams.
