A piece of South Australian history, this sterling silver brooch is set with two shells, typical of the Victorian obsession with the natural world. We have attributed this brooch to Frederick Basse due to the unique sterling stamps on it. It is in good overall condition.
Stamped 'STG' (unclear) 'SILVER'.
It measures just under 5cm long.
