An interesting piece of colonial silver. This strainer, perhaps for chai tea, is simple but well made. It was made by well known firm Hamilton and Co of Calcutta. It includes the urn stamp which is early/mid nineteenth century. It is in good overall condition, there is a repair to one of the handles.
