A rare George II scottish silver coffee pot, made by Milne & Campbell in Glasgow in the 1770s. In that great over the top mid century style. It has a baluster body embossed with flowers, with leaf-capped spout, on a spreading circular foot, an ebonised handle and an interesting bird finial. It is in good overall condition, it has some loss to the paint on the handle.
Stamped 'M&C', 'O' and the glasgow tree mark.
It measures 26.5cm high and weighs 910 grams.
